In 2011 BlindGenie began as an ultrasonic blind cleaning company utilizing machines that washed blinds using a proprietary technology. Shortly after many customers asked for new window treatment replacements. The company became a dealer for Springs Window Fashions, a U.S. based manufacturer for Bali and Graber brands headquartered in Middleton, Wisconsin. In 2013 BlindGenie was certified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) by the State of Tennessee. The company has since been awarded numerous residential, commercial, and government contracts to date installing thousands of window treatments.
